Gender Sensitization
Gender Sensitization is about changing behavior and instilling empathy into the views that we hold about our own and the other genders.”
Diversity at the workplace calls for “Gender Sensitization” as a prerequisite towards building an “Inclusive work culture”. It is important to understand and embrace sensitivity concerning all genders and sexuality surrounding men, women, and LGBTQ+. Our team has created a platform to imbibe gender sensitivity through culture changes and using various learning interventions containing strategic actionable ideas and implementable tools that would encourage gender-sensitivity and prevent dampening the spirit of Inclusion at the workplace. Our workshop on Gender Sensitization assists you to always think “Gender – Equal” at your workplace through the increased awareness of unvoiced issues of gender sensitization such as
- Usage of gender-sensitive language in official documentation, job roles.
- Usage of gender-inclusive or gender-neutral language at workplaces, in meetings, job descriptions.
- Adopting gender-sensitive behavior towards men, women, members of LGBTQ+, and under-represented communities.
- Implications for gender insensitivity, objectifying, gender discrimination, dehumanization based on sexual orientation, etc.
- Gender domination, and privileged gender’s insensitivity towards minority-represented groups.
Such changes would earnestly reflect in the increased efficiency and productivity of the staff, as they will remain highly motivated and efficient when they feel valued, respected, and safe.
Sensitizing employees towards gender-equality in terms of roles and, responsibilities help to dilute, and prevent any hostility in the work culture. By sensitizing its workforce towards all genders, organizations can progress towards embracing an Inclusive-Work-Culture that respects everyone equally by,

“When employees have to endure belittlement, bullying and threatening behaviors from colleagues or management while at work, is called Workplace harassment”.
Workplace harassment can have adverse effects on the mental health of people. It can cause low morale, depression, absenteeism, decreased work efficiency, etc.
This workshop is aimed at building a harassment-free workplace for all. For the success and growth of any organization, it is vital that all employees feel safe, valued, and respected. They should be able to share any issues of harassment towards them or anyone around them to the management without having any fear of judgement or the fear of the impact on their career. Adopting a zero-tolerance towards workplace harassment and creating awareness is the only way to combat workplace harassment.
Prevention of Sexual Harassment for Women @ Workplace (POSH)
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, aims at protecting women from sexual harassment in workplaces, prevention and redressal of such issues and incidents related to it.
Sexual Harassment towards women is a distressing misdemeanor that violates the basic rights of an individual. There will be numerous questions as to what would not be considered as sexual harassment excluding the obvious sexual advances and sexually abusive language while delving upon the prevention of sexual harassment of women at workplaces.
The POSH Act 2013 has introduced certain mandatory provisions for every employer. Our POSH training Workshop creates an awareness amongst the employees and employers, by helping them identify the subtle line of demarcation between appropriate and inappropriate behaviors.
With organizations shifting to online work culture, there is also a need for handling online sexual harassment, obscene messages, anonymous messages to threaten, embarrass, or manipulate female staff. Counseling and support, for the victims, are important.
Through our POSH workshop and various workplace culture initiatives, we will strive towards providing an in-depth emphasis on the Why’s What’s and How’s of POSH Act. We endeavor to instill a sense of confidence in women and break the stigma that hovers around discussing Sexual Harassment. We aim to bring more commitment to your people to build and sustain a sexual-harassment-free workplace.
